Stephen is the Director of Advanced Stone and has worked as a stonemason since 1980. He specialises in all facets of stonemasonry, started as a letter cutter learning old traditional methods and combining them with modern technology.
Today, Stephen and the team at Advanced Stone are proven to be master craftsmen in their field of building and designing memorial monuments. For over 30 years, Stephen has supported Melbourne families to create lasting and meaningful memorial monuments across all Melbourne cemeteries. With over 15 years’ experience as a Stonemason, Ben specialises in letter cutting, memorial installation and general stonemasonry. His workmanship is of an optimum standard, from fixing memorials or engraving the perfect inscription carved and gilded in 23 carat gold leaf. Ben is reliable and takes great pride in achieving a wonderful and memorable result both for the family and Advanced Stone.

Mario is a Stonemason at Advanced Stone. His expertise is in letter cutting, installations and general stonemasonry. He Has a wonderful attitude, willing to assist and help where needed to deliver a meaningful memorial for each family. Mario ensures that the standard of work is to an optimum level. Mario liaises with each customer ensuring the finer details are met and delivered to a high standard to create quality and lasting memorials with care.
